Title: Saddlemen Dominator solo seat
Post by: KY-SESG on January 24, 2015, 10:32:50 AM
I'm considering the Dominator for my HC SESG. Has anyone used this seat?  I'm looking for the right balance between style and long distance comfort. I would purchase the back rest as well. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/saddlemen-dominator-seat-harley-touring-2008-2015

Have never had a Dominator, but do use the Road Sofa. If it's even close to the comfort of the RS you will love it.

Finally pulled the trigger on the Dominator. I only have about 80 miles on it so not sure about touring comfort yet, but definitely better than stock. It is about an inch or two higher which is fine with me at 5'11". I'm happy with the styling.  The silver stitching and carbon fiber pattern look like it was made for the Hard Candy Mercury color scheme. The backrest provides good support and looks as good as one can when installed.

Here it is with the back fest. Put five hours in the saddle on Sunday. Very happy with it. Great having a backrest again.

Can you post a pic from the rear with the backrest installed?  I looked online and could only find a front or side view.

Have a 15 also and the seat is killing my tail bone. Do you have pics with passenger backrest and has this seat changed your riding position. Looks great on the bike!!!!!
