Anyone know how soon these would be available from the MOCO?  I think my color was the only carryover color in 16 from 15, so I'd like to buy it and pop it in.  Has anyone ever replaced the mail slot?  Any idea what a chore it may or may not be?

I am buying one over the winter and sending it to be color matched....I heard from the dealer it is held in with 3M tape.

My stock piece fell off a week after I bought the bike. I replaced it with a chrome one which works well on my bike. Yes, there is some 3M tape on it and it slides right in from the outside. I believe you will have to remove the outer fairing to remove the stock one. Piece of cake.

As best I can tell from the parts diagrams, there are no fasteners just the tape.  The attachment is provided for those who might be interested in the actual part numbers of the 2016 color matched parts.  TXCobra, take the part number for the one you want to a dealership and ask them to check availability for you.  I doubt there will be an inventory of them yet, this early into the model year, so most likely it will have to be special ordered.

Wow...  HD has one available now in black or chrome. Not an extact match for your black paint  but won't look bad and is a hellava lot cheaper!

Nice, thanks for the pic!  It looks like it's vivid black, right?  Anyone have the HD part number for that one?  Curious as to the price difference in the black vs the CVO color.
