      I got some numbers for 2012 CVO Road Glides. The info I got from Harley is (1238 White / Black)   (602 Blue / Black)  and   (799 Maple / Black). Sorry I only got export numbers for the Maple & Black, and they shipped 178 of those out of the states. Hope you find this interesrting. I guess they will also break it down to how many are in each state.

Jonnierock, I'm not going to dispute your numbers but the HD website posts only 1,485 total production for all three colors for the 2012 SERG.  Your total numbers add up to 2,639 so something doesn't jive....
According to the website, the 2012 SESG was the CVO model the MoCo made the most of at 2,356.  Here's a link to that information

According to the website, the 2012 SESG was the CVO model the MoCo made the most of at 2,356.  Here's a link to that information

That number is an "approximate"... not actual. MoCo has been known to go over/under that number depending on demand.

I completely understand that and would expect it to be off a bit but almost a 1,200 total difference was a bit more than approximate.  If memory serves me correct, the other model years were off a bit but only over/under the original number by a small percentage but not by almost 2X as these numbers show.  Not disputing the original post, just saying something is off.

          I just went back and checked my email that I received from Harley Davidson, and that was the numbers that we're given to me, but I guess, there's always a possiblity that their not correct.

As a follow-up to this discussion.  A few weeks ago, I contacted HD customer service concerning the total numbers for each of the 2012 CVO models.  The individual color numbers were not available until after the first of the year and the customer service rep politely asked me to call back in January.  As I already had a memo on this with the company and after commenting on this post yesterday, I decided to call them back.  Yep, no color numbers have been released (again was very kindly asked to call back at the first of the year) and the numbers posted on the HD website were within 1% of the actual numbers produced.

Jonnierock, I'm not sure where you are getting the information but I don't think the MoCo would have any reason to fib about production numbers to a customer.  Thanks for beginning this post, however, as it's a great conversation booster.

Well, just don't know what you find but wyd opn seems to have done quite a bit of research on the subject and has all the information posted on a couple threads.  I think we are all off based on his findings but sure glad somebody has the stamina to go through all the data and compile the information we all find interesting and useful.

Ok, so I've been curious. Does anyone actually know how many CVO Road Glide Customs were actually made in each color in 2012? Just curious because for a "rare" bike, I sure see an awfully large amount of Skunk bikes like mine out there. Just curiosu if anyone actual knows how many were really made in each color. My personal opinion is that you really can't go wrong with any color that they made this year, but have never heard a real number. Just curious if any of you guys might know.
