how much HP can a harley hydraulic  clutch handle, without failing ,  :nixweiss:

Hydraulic actuation has nothing to do with the torque capacity of the clutch, the same clutch would have the same torque capacity whether you used a cable to operate it or a hydraulic system.

Some of the tuners on the site can probably give you some real world information on how much torque the stock clutch can handle before it needs to be upgraded.

I have a Rivera clutch with a 131 and it was slipping while being tuned,changed to gold diaphram spring no more slip but the clutch lever is a tad stiffer. I didn't notice before while riding.

i like my hydraulic clutch on my 110 ci now , , the way i drive with  a 120 hp i have no problem ,but was thinking of a "124" , up graded twin cam , but don't want to have to go to a after market clutch, gotta stop with the power before all that ,...lol

I’m running a pretty strong 117 with 0 issues.
