I have always thought that if you take two handfuls of large rocks and you throw them at the front of the motorcycle at delivery this will allow you to get the first dent/chip out of the way.  After which point you can enjoy the motorcycle and not worry about “the detail”.

Good luck in whatever direction you may take.

i agree with you!

i do use Zaino though, which is a polish/sealer type product that brings out the brilliance of the paint the more you use it.  i usually put 10 - 20 coats on and seal each coat during the winter.  the bugs fall off with just the hose all summer long! i don't think i'd put any film type anything on it............

Wondering if Zaino protects your paint from rock chips, road rash, belt buckles and heel scuffs ~ ?

if you're worried about rock chips and road rash.....don't ride!  lol.  don't wear the belt buckle while riding and yes, Zaino will help the heel scuffs  ;)

I've used Zaino before and liked it.
Put it on the FLHXSE when new and again after repair parts went on.

now Dick, those of us that know you understand that this is a purely theoretical statement as you'd never truly do this to the front of one of your beloved scooters.  Just ain't gonna happen.  har.  spyder
