I've heard good things about the Griot's Garage 3" buffer but is there another alternative in the market place that can keep all the nooks and crannys clean and polished as well? :-*

Dremel makes small buffing pads for their tool, but not orbital. I got a 3" Griot's thats great, but if it ever crapps I'm going cheaper. A orbital buffer is a orbital buffer.

Own the 3" orbital from Griots as well. My first one crapped out on me and I called them. Had a new one 2 days later. For the tighter spots, I still haven't found anything better than my fingers and a microfiber cloth. You also may want to add this kit to your cleaning arsenal if you don't have it.

I believe Griots has private labeled a set like them as well. They rock!

The Griot's 3" is excellent, but it definitely does NOT get into "all the nooks and crannies" on a bike.  It does make hitting the larger surfaces easier and faster, but you're not going to be able to get 100% of the tank, fairing (if you have one) fenders or any other painted part unless you remove it from the bike, first, such as you can do with the saddlebags.  I have one and use it on the bikes, but there is still plenty of hand application that goes on during a complete detail.

I ve got the 3" and the larger one for my 04 Corvette.  When i lived in Dupont Wa the corvette club i was in had an event a Griots Fife Wa location.  Great products and well worth every penny!  My Corvette looks like it is still brand new and I have not buffed it in over 2 years!!  Both Bikes also.  The key is using a good product from the start to take care of your paint and crome! ;)

Seems to me a buffer for a bike woud just be a waste of money.  I mean there is so little to do, I could have the parts all polished and waxed by the time it takes to set up a buffer.  Maybe not, but come on a buffer for a bike.

Best buffer for a bike - elbow grease

You're right, but that's minus the shipping, taxes and brushes.

The Amazon seller is the producer, whom ever you opt to go with is fine with me, it was never my intent to become independently wealthy on the sale!
