Heh, now that's not a bad idear. :) Here they get a special lane (bike lane), act like they own the road sometime, and don't pay a dime. Annual registration might be a good thing. :nixweiss:

I don't own any and wouldn't be impacted but if they actually used the money for safety and bike lane improvement it might make sense.

Most of the cyclists here are the same as you describe, greenies mostly and whacked IMHO.

If that's the case, then it's time to start buying all the MRE's I can find!!  You can load a 12" sewer full after a day of MRE's. :P

Well I'm happy to read this update, it seems that the city council came to there senses and realized the stupidity
of this amendment. I also agree with Hoist, all NYC motorcycle riders should be contacting the city council speaker,
in Dickensteins post. To formally OPPOSE this measure. I know that I will.

Damn I hope they raise the fee to $100 per year. The spandex , cleated shoes and pointed Styrofoam helmets are just to much to look at.

I don't know about a license but probably well be taxed for it! I hear there are a bunch of new taxes coming, taxing everything. Even soda pop! :drink: All ready the highest taxes around. What are they doing with all that money? :nixweiss:

Perhaps start to pay off all of the money that is being given away?
