Hey everybody. Havent been on for a while. I was riding in a benefit poker run on 5/22/10 in Tampa , FL. On my way home , i was traveling on I-75 when i was involved in an accident with a truck & horse trailer. Fortunatley i do not remember the accident at all. I was running approx 70mph , no helmet. I did not receive any head trama. I did break my pelvis , which now has a plate with 4 screws in it. I tore my left knee open and tore all the ligaments off the bone. Broken nose and some pretty nasty road rash. My scoot 09 ob road glide made out much better than i did. It should be fixed in a couple more weeks. Ive got some physical therapy but nothing i wont heal from. Glad to be alive , happy to be back on the site.

Sorry to hear about your accident, that is a heck of a busy place to go down. Hope all goes well in therapy and you are able to ride again soon. Any words of wisdom on wearing a helmet? I hate them, just so happens I moved to Alabama from Ohio and have to wear one now, never did in Ohio nor do I when I get into a state that doesn't require them. May have to re think it.
