Hi,
New here and was wondering if anyone knew what this knob is for on my recently acquired 2005 Electra Glide CVO? It's below handlebar on clutch side.
Thanks

It's a cigarette/cigar lighter.... turn bike on or to ACC and push it in... if working properly it should pop back out and be glowing.

Thanks guys, obvious now you say it.......

It's a Missile Launch button. I changed my button so it wouldn't be accidentally pressed.

Don't feel bad about it. The question has been asked by so many for so many years that somebody called it the "Mystery Button". Not me but I would have if I had thought of that first.
BTW welcome to the board. It's a great resource for all things Harley and if you read enough you may spend more $$ than you ever dreamed possible all sorts of questions get answered.

That's where you plug your cell phone in, when it's in the windshield pouch. :P

and, if you hit a bump hard enough, it will sacrifice itself to the road gods, prompting you to either buy another one, or a cover. (i'm partial to the cover, it's only a buck or so)

Looks like a door lock button from a 1968 Buick ;D

Didn't expect the Mystery Button to make a return. That's awesome. Welcome aboard to you and your button!
