Ref-D & D Fat Cats let me say one big Amen.    I have mentioned them a few times, but everybody keeps selling themselves on the Freedom pipes, I just gave it up.  To each his on.  'Uh'Er, in addition  [smiley=laugh.gif] they do not require that you beat the hell out of them to get them to fit by the brake pedal.

I'm not in the market now to buy another exhaust but when I do, it'll be the D&D Fat Cat.  Of course, I decided that way back when I asked you questions about them (think I asked you to post pictures so I'd know what it looked like with the false left side).  Anyway, the comparison test in the new issue of American Rider put D&D way over the top compared to the Rhineharts.  I'm sold on em! Great to see the new bike finally made it over Tony.  Congratulations.  What was the final verdict on the old one with the trashed motor?

Hi 2Lane,

HD paid the £2500 parts bill and I paid the £1500 labour bill.

It's gone now!

The "techs" are fairly standard guys. ... You know the sort;

ZZ Top beards
Big Beer Bellies
Dirty nails
Greasy overalls
Huge "F**K OFF" boots
Snap-on tools

However if I see any "Big Jugs" down at the dealership I will be sure to post some photos! [smiley=beatnik2.gif]

Too funny it sounds like me I am tech but the first two dont apply to me [smiley=confused5.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=shocked2.gif]

Guess the "gone now" is the important part.  Still seems a bit unfair you had to foot the labor bill.  But hey, it's time to begin thrashing a new yellow bike so we'll all ride forward and stop worrying about what happened before !!

Renzo,

Welcome to the forum. I suspect that you may be the 1st Welshman so you are especially welcome.

Is Chapel Ash your dealer? If so how have you found them?

Regards
Tony

Renzo,

If it is silver and blue with heated grips, adjustable backrest, 2" pull back touring bars and braided cables ... it is my old bike!!
