They are supposed to start showing up at dealers during the 120th home coming party the 13-16th of July. They can be sold after that.
If I decide I want it for sure and we can make the numbers work, mine will be on the first truck, week of the 17th.

From what i've seen, the whiskey neat color looks great, hard pill to swallow for a 6G upcharge though

Cool Dave. Good luck . I love the whiskey color. 👍👍👍Stuart

I fully agree on the 6K upcharge. Heck I thought last years 3K upcharge was high. Stand out paint work has always been part of the CVO Package. Guess it's an option now.

Thanks. Can't wait to see them both but I have a feeling out in the sun that Whiskey Neat will be fantastic.

This morning I am going over to the Dealer to compare colors. They got a Whiskey Street Glide in and a Dark Platinum Road Glide.
-
I like the Dark Platinum, but It to me doesn't pop like a CVO should. The Whiskey Neat really pops, fantastic paint work. Saw both colors yesterday, the Whiskey on SG and the Platinum on two RG's. Lot's of little details in the bikes. The infotainment system is very nice. Tank and bags are different, but look good. Radiator for water cooling is well integrated. I like the new seat but that's only about 10 minutes on it. New controls will take getting use to. Sort of a cross between the Pan America and the Toruing bikes.
Torque curve is awesome.

“New controls will take some getting used to” sounds like a statement from someone who is buying one…Whiskey Neat RG in your future Dave?

Dave. What is that dealer asking for the new road glide?

The Dark Platinum is 45,049 on the H-D website then what ever the dealer adds. The Whiskey neat is 51,049.
Harley still has the 1200 surcharge on the bikes and freight is now 850. The above prices include both.
As for me getting one, we will see. Price is nuts, but I really need to replace my 19 CVO RG.

Dave. What is that dealer asking for the new road glide?
If I were to do it, it would be an MSRP deal.
-
Good luck. Ask for 2 of us. Would you like to trade in your 19?

Yes, trade the 19. Only way can swing it. Being medically retired since December of 19 I have much less income. Retirement was 10 years earlier than planned.

Is Smokey Mountain Harley an MSRP dealer for everyone or perhaps their long standing established customers??
I was able to buy my 2021 from my local dealer Peterson's Harley-Davidson for MSRP. But that was 2 years ago and I haven't asked what they plan to ask for the 2023's.

To the best of my knowledge they are MSRP.
