My Springer is late!!!!

My inferno orange springer's ship date was Sept. 7 but still hasn't shipped.
Anybody else running into this problem?  My dealer is telling me that HD has
slowed production.

Jorge, you getting a springer?  I have toyed with the idea, but I really need a bike more suited to two up riding for the cabin.

My Springer was certainly one of my favorite bikes and they look stunning in the CVO version.

I feel the pain.  Just an informed guess:  When I talked to about 6 dealers about '08 Springer, they all had arrival dates for black ones first, then copper/onyx later.  Looked like the Inferno was last batch to come out.  I hear they do a big production run of each color combo before they start making next combo--also read an article that they've slowed production b/c of sub-prime mortgage mess affecting the economy, which means longer time 'til they start making Inferno.

2 dealers in PA have had them for a couple weeks now. Saw one when I had my bike serviced about 3 weeks ago. Of course, it has a SOLD ticket on it already!!!

Liberty HD in Akron Ohio has one ( Inferno ) on the floor
Call and Ask for Brad Bacon ( Sales Mg )

My dealer called yesterday morning and told me that it shipped on Wednesday.
It should be ready for me to pick up next week.
Just in time for some Fall riding.

I have been calling him, emails and left messages and not answer from hi....if you have a chance please let him know that I am interested in that bike and he call me at the office 305-885-6225.
