Title: Keep the Oil cooler grill clean
Post by: longlast on April 01, 2024, 09:37:45 AM
Not sure if this is in the right place,  please relocate if not ,...Cheers,

I've put some pic of my oil cooler on to show what I've done to stop road grit smashing into the cooling fins and plugging it up with mud , little stones possibly causing a leak resulting in having to buy a new cooler.

Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the cooling grill when it was plugged up with the grit I mentioned thrown up from the tire.

You can see where I have cleaned it up (it was painstaking fiddly work getting all the grit out and straightening out all the individual fins without breaking any).

So I made a mug guard,... pic 2 & 3
