Title: 8gig nano ipod
Post by: Skwatch on May 25, 2019, 05:27:54 PM
Hi!

My 2011 FLTRUSE came with an 8gig nano ipod....for some reason it seems to want to play the same 32 (or so) songs. I have 500+ songs on there but it doesn't seem interested in playing them....

Has anyone else encountered this issue? if yes....did you find a cure?

TIA

Sounds like a setting on the nano itself. Quite possibly a favorites list.

Sent from my boring Droid phone.

Thanks OBB...I can't seem to figure out any of the functions on it...I've never created a fav list, just loaded a bunch of music and let it play...

I've done a reset on it and will see how it reacts tomorrow...
If all else fails...I'll try and get a youngster to take a look at it...LOL

When we got our 2012 CVO  with the nano my wife uploaded music to it.
The day we left on a trip, a friend familiar with it did a quick tutorial on how to set up favorites loading 1 song to the file.
Apparently we  failed in his training as we now had 1 song from it to listen to.
And no it wasn't the Lionel Richie stuck on you song. I seem to remember it was a song called Lucky Lips by Ruth Brown.  For the first few replays it was funny but that faded  fast.
We were later able to get it out of favorites and back to the main library

those little things have a mind of their own.... that said I could never get it to do much, it would start at A on the play list and go from there .... every day

I hear that...mine always starts at A...all good as...I like the Allman Bros!  ;D I always have it on shuffle so it doesn't stay in alphabetical order after first song...

Aside from the "reset"...I'm not sure what I did but....it seems to be functioning alright now...(fingers crossed)
