So my front fairing stage ll boom audio speakers (2016) quit working last week. This coincides with the fade control not working either. The fade option only shows the line but not the bike. The software is up to date. Could it be a bad amp?
Any thoughts would be helpful.

Sounds like a bad amp to me!? Now you can contact the folks at Biketronics for a good upgrade/replacement, or check around here for a takeoff after you've had it properly diagnosed.
Good luck!

Had a rear speaker amp go bad on mine left-rear speaker inop. Easy test, if you have a 4 speaker Boom 2 system is swap the front and rear Boom amp.

I've seen a lot of reports about amp failures on those systems, the highest number being from the 2015 model year. The amp part number indicates at least two engineering changes have been made since the part was first released, indicating Harley and the supplier knew of the problems. That doesn't necessarily mean a new replacement won't also fail however.
