Title: POLICE SEAT ON A SEEG
Post by: custardglide on May 13, 2008, 01:22:24 PM
Daft question but has anyone fitted a police seat to a SEEG, only askin cos I've just got one off ebay and I am gonna see if it will fit. I can't forsee too many problems other than the relocation of the air resevoir. I GOT to get something different to that stock seat and as I used to have a cop bike I found that seat to be soooo comfortable I am tryin it on the custardglide, it may not look pretty but it sure will cure an achin butt :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

I'm not sure how that would work or look......but would like to see photos of it, once you've done it.

A lady that rides with us just celebrated her 60th birthday....she has no problem with 800 mile days and has a police seat on her dyna with a 103" motor in it.  You never hear her complain about her butt or her back and she swears by that seat.  She rides in a straight up position (like the CHP do) with no backrest and stays in that position all day long. :nixweiss:

I dont have any pics but i bought one and it fit fine. Comes with the a airpiston that goes under seat. Air canister fit into saddlebag but i had to drill 2 small holes to mount. Rode great and i still have it if someone wants one

Hey Harleydawg, I dont need a reason to scoff the donuts, i'm a natural, BTW the police seat is ON the custardglide, it fits ok! i'm gonna give it a test ride tomorrow, i'll keep you posted how it feels. It sure feels high up compared to the stock seat, a bit like my old shovelhead with the buddy seat on. LOL :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

That looks GREAT!
I've been in one of those saddles a time or two and know how comfortable they are. Ride safe.

That's not bad looking at all.  If it's a comfortable ride.....looks like that's your seat. :2vrolijk_21:
