Yes, it was a chrome metal seat. Saw it in Rapid. Looked like a farm implement on a motorcycle. That and the lack of any rear fenders made me think this was a show-only bike.

Its all a state of mind biglew. We rode from Atl and it was worth every mile. How ever the last 50 or so miles are not much fun after 4100 I was ready to get off. cant wait till 20093

#2 This was just like a little two wheel car with a complete steering system with ball joints in the front wheel hub, quite a nice bit of engineering.

#6 I think this was a '98 or '99 brand new in the crate Excelsior (speeling). I saw one of these for sale at the Rapid City HD dealership for around $8k or so, I think. I thas a massive front springer suspension.

I saw this bike in a magazine this week, so it got some ink.

They had two rows of these bobbers. Not too unique done as production bikes...

Rule #1, never EVER trailer a Harley-Davidson in good working order.

I love it when I pass a truck or RV, towing Harleys on a trailer. I just think, they're looking at me and WISHING they were out here on the open highway.

At 29 pictures I would have spent all day doing them one at a time. This way you get to see them all at once but it doesn't add to my post count.

I have more uploaded to my inbox on Picture Trail and when I get them in an album I'll post the next bunch. Some are from '06, but if you haven't seen them before, they're new to you...

I am glad though that you guys did like some of them.

My wife and I taking a little time to let the bison move on and AWAY from us.

More bison in the main park center. Lots of them here...

Here's a front wheel drive bike of a very intersting nature.

I'd love to have this baby in my garage. I think I would even leave this one stock.

An unrestored original single with quite the magneto out front.

I didn't even know some of these bikes had ever been in production. I'd never seen a flat twin Indian before.

A very nice LITTLE Beezzer single. I bet my old Bridgestone 50 Sport could have taken it.

Here's a little Badland wildlife floral growing along the top of one of the ridges.

I couldn't believe that this flower, really I think it's a weed, was growing right out of the bed of blistered clay like the floor of Death Valley...

This was in one of the magazines last summer. There was a spare motor like this one in one of the store windows downtown on one of the corners. Didn't get to see the price tag for the rotary though.
