I dunno, my other nicknames have been Goon and Big bird (or dumbass or numbnuts when I was kid...miss you dad!)...

Rocketman just seemed cool...  I'm open to suggestions - well not really, but you can make them anyway.  Anything has to be be better then smurf?

Maybe you should start a thread and make a poll Sean ?  I'm sure there'd be lots of well meaning suggestions.

2LR has been known to throw a dead cat occasionally.  Have never known him to throw sand.

Lord no.  Be a waste of time.  If something is actually worth killing it's worth the effort to do it right.  Anything short of that can be simply dismissed or avoided.  But it's always worth a friendly hello to try to keep from getting there.

Oh crap.  Should have read more closely before.  Didn't realize he was only 15.  Hate wasting time and effort like that.

I'm just a big, cuddly 6'6", 250lb, gun nut, martial arts instructor Marine...nothing to worry about from me.  I'm also an IT geek...  

I love and respect General Mattis like few other leaders in my beloved Corps, he is the consummate warrior.

But you have to understand that Gold Bikes Rule - we get past that, and all is good.

Now back to the cry of the instant recognition of a nickname, I seem to feel the love of all you guys about this (fingers poised above the keys having trouble holding back) and I'm sure if you could make a list but didn't put your name to it we could all have a laugh although the danger is someone might get offended. I will opt out on this as I have no idea other than Gold member and marine hmm there could be some good ones with that combination.
