Hog Tunes does it- but, stay tuned-my dealer said within a few months Harley will offer a kit thru their affiliation with Boom sound speakers for your lowers on and ultra etc. this is good for us guys considering the detach tourpaks when we lose the rear speakers. My question to them is when the tourpak goes back on,can I have 6 speaker stereo ?

See your dealer and have them order the SESG2 Lower Fairing Speaker pods and there Grills. They look nice. Get them painted to match your lowers and set it up like a Street Glide.

Not sure how soon you may want to do your upgrade.

J&M is coming out w/ a new set up for the lowers, come March 2011.

They will be the 7 1/2" speakers. They also have a new 500 watt

amp 4 channel coming around the same time frame. They are currently only

offering this for the vented lowers not the 09 and older Road glides lower

fairings.

Just something to think about. I have just the 7 1/2" speakers w/ stock

HK radio and my roadie sounds great!!!

Good Luck,

If you have vented lowers, you can easily (and at modest cost) add the speaker boxes used on the SESG2 as mentioned by SID8D2 as described in this thread:

Yellowbird, it will be interesting to see if J&M offers speaker boxes in both vented and non-vented versions.

Carl,

As of now, all that I have heard is the vented version.

Time will tell.
