Fender bra

How are you dealing with fender chips, using a trike fender bra, clear plastic protective film or nothing?   If you are using a bra, vendor?   Thanks for your input.

CVODON:
Never used anything and also, luckily, I have never had a front fender damaged or chipped. The only thing I do is be very careful to not follow very close (tailgate). If I were going to protect it I would go to whoever in your area (Presidential Detail in Tampa for me) and have it wrapped in Expel or 3M clear bra. I would not buy one of the kits, let a pro do it and wrap the complete fender then coat it with Ceramic and forget it for a couple years at least.

Thanks for the input.  This is kinda what I was thinking.

Well since you're posting on the Tri-Glide forum I assume your concern is the front of the rear fenders - which should be a concern as they will definitely suffer from debris, rocks, gravel, etc., being thrown into them.  On my 2018 TG I used the Harley brand Paint Protective Film (PPF).  On my 2020 I choose Hog Skins since it offered better coverage of the front of the rear fenders and their complete kit covers the entire outer fairing and the leading edges of the lower fairings and some other areas.  A better choice imo.

That's my 2020 Tri-Glide in Tahitian Teal in the photos on their website.

Many thanks for the input.  Looks like the real deal.  Question now is do I try this myself or find an installer...   Also, what type of after care do you use, wax, Last Coat, or what?
