2011 FLHXSE2 Build Sheet Break Down (What number do you have?)

So I have been trying to break down the build sheet. So here is what i have so far.

Line 1- Bar code
Line 2- VIN Number. Your owners manual will tell you what all the numbers mean from being built in York, P.A. to the model,year,ect.
Line 3- I do not know what this 6 didget number means, and a bar code.
Line 4- MON (for Monday), 0349 (the number out of 3700) and 111510 (is the date completed). NOTE: The 15th was a Monday.
Line 5- CANADIAN, the contry it was made for.
Line 6- 2011, the year and KILO (for kilometers).
Line 7- FLHXSE2 (model)
Line 8- BLACK DIAMOND (colour).
Line 9- CRUISE (cruise control)
Line 10- CST   AGIT   BK   ABS ( the last one must be for ABS brakes but i do not know the first 3).
Line 11- SECURITY/SIREN (alarm)

The number 349 from the assembly line. I asked the dealership not to clean it off and i brought it home like this. :)

Mine is number 325. I found this number all over my bike while I had it apart for the stereo upgrade. Pretty cool they marked all the parts with the build number.

BTW, I believe the first # of your VIN also indicates the shipping location...

5HD1 = Canada
1HD1 = America

I don't know about the rest of the world, but possibly a new thread is in order?  :nixweiss:

I received number 270.  Interestingly Mano, I thought you took receipt of your bike before I did mine, day before Thanksgiving.  Yet, my number is lower, hmmm.

Who knows mate....I received mine early Dec......I am thinking they had to put all that extra junk on for the Canadian market.

Ah, you were in December, that explains it.  However, I did note something in you photo that I never noticed before.  I see a Harley bar and shield logo on your tire, never knew that was there...

Your mysterious 349 number is a sequence number. It was the 349th bike sequenced to be built that day.

I hear ya Brad. I know it is not like the 2008 Road Kings which had the emblem with #000 OF 1800 or the blacked out Ultras with #000 of 999 plaques BUT at the end of it all. emblem or not it is bike number 349 out of 3700.

I don't think so you have the 349th bike built that day off the production line. Since all bikes are built on the same production line.

So what do we know? What does the MoCo say about that number? Somebody tell me before I get my hopes up, because I got mine back in August when they were first released...too bad I'm forward deployed right now or I'd be out in the garage lookin' for that number...lol

349 is a blemish code that returns the bike back to quality control to fix a seen issue with the bike :o :o :o

So what are you saying Brad is that there are multiple numbers out there? Are you saying that each week (or how ever long it takes to build a bike) they build a bike the following week they reuse that number again? Why would they put it on the build sheet if it did not mean something. Just wondering do other H.D. Bikes have this production/sequence number or do they just have a VIN number?  :nixweiss:


We know that there are only 3700 SG's being made in 2011. If the number is used again and again then yes i can see it as a sequence or a production number but if the number is NOT reused it has to be a one of 3700.
