High Speed Wobble
« on: February 14, 2011, 04:48:01 PM »

Recently was able to open up my CVO Street Glide and around 100 mph, i started to get a wobble in the fairing. Harley Dealer told me it might be goose neck bearing? This is my forth Batwing and none of the others did this. Any opinions?

With the new frame, you really shouldn't have a wobble. If you have a loose steering head bearing, that would certainly create a problem.
I assume you are still under warranty? Why not let the dealer check out your bike?

Quite possibly could be that. Consider yourself lucky... sounds like you got a decent dealer at least they didn't say "they all do that"

Had the same issue. Similar to a tank slapper on a crotch rocket.    Little to zero head bearing grease was in there.   A few minute fix.  Check tyre pressure.   I eventually changed the front springs to mono tubes which made life a great deal better.   One last check is that the rear is set for your weight.
