Odd, I wonder what the difference is between an '11 and a '12.  I bought one, had it powder coated and it fits on my bike just fine.  Even have the front air baffle mounted there as well.   :nixweiss:

I'm with you, I can't imagine any reason why it wouldn't work.  The lower fork bracket hasn't changed, the threaded holes are still there, the forks are still the same, so why wouldn't it work?

It has been a while and I honestly cannot remember the reason for it.  Something about a bolt being in the way so it could not lay flat comes to mind.  Unfortunately, I am out of town and cannot check.  :nixweiss:

That's the only reason I could see why, other then that
No other obstruction in the way... GhostRider says he bolted one on
Along with an air baffle, I asked if he could post a pic. Would be nice if she'll fit

The problem with this part is that section that curves out and around the forks doesn't start curving out in time to go around the big bolt heads in the fork brackets.  This does not allow the cover to lay flat and snug like it is supposed to.  It can only sit on top of these bolt heads like you see in the picture which is why their is a big gap behind the cover.  The part simply does not fit - at least not like it is supposed to.
