Rode it home today. Was pretty impressed. Felt very solid and definitely ran cooler. Will put some miles on it this weekend and give a more detailed report.
So, 250 miles later, I'm really liking the bike. It is very well balanced and easy to maneuver-for an 800lb touring bike. The front end seems greatly improved. Much more stable and it doesn't dive when applying the brake. The infotainment system is complex and a little clunky to navigate, but at least you can hear your tunes at highway speeds.
The bike definitely runs cooler than my 2011 CVO Streetglide and while there is still some valve train noise, its nowhere near as loud as my previous 110's. I find the seat fairly comfortable and the front vent in the fairing does provide some relief from buffeting. It doesn't eliminate it, but it certainly helps especially at higher speeds.
Overall, I give it high marks. Had to put it to bed for the winter but I'm looking already looking forward to getting more seat time in the Spring.
