I hope to get back there next year to do Route 12 on the way home from the 2009 PacNorWesGTG...assuming there is one!  Also to get a t-shirt since we did not stop at any dealers in ID...

Have forgotten the name of the river its trek follows but that road from Lola to Lewiston is always reported to be magnificent.  Reason enough to go mark off the state all by itself .

OK, are you guys even thinking about putting together a Special CVO/Idaho GTG/'putt' for  2Ln.Rider's state map.........?   If so, might want to start another thread, 'cause, I for one, would be interested in making that one.  har!  spyder

If I think it about too much I might not be able to wait until next year and doing it either going to or returning from a Pacific NW Gathering.  I think some made this run on the way to Nelson last year.  I know I'd intended to until mom took ill.

The stretch that seems to get the most coverage is about 200 miles from Lolo, MT to Lewiston, ID.  Since I've never done it have no idea what of that is best though.  Or if it's all good.

Need to do this though Spyder.  Really need to do this.

twolane, if you didn't be sure and click on that link in my post above. Even though that trip starts in Boise and makes a round trip a good portion of it is the Lolo Pass section you're talking about, 77 miles of curvaceous, mountain riding next to the Lochsa River.

And we can stay here and catch a day of whitewater!
