Just picked up my silver streak today. About 50 miles on it. Some very initial observations: coming off a 120 street glide the bike has adequate power for its intended purpose. Not impressed with ride as compared to my GSA or 06 street glide. Very hard on my boney butt. The bike will need a higher windscreen. Do not like the triangle shaped grips even a little bit. The fit and finish is great. Glad I picked the silver. In all a nicely executed bike. But for long distance rides I will definitely take the GSA. Just my initial thoughts which obviously are subject to change. Spook

Thanks guys.

I just took her out for about 100 mile trip. Handlebars are fine and bike ran really good for no tune yet.  I am PLEASED to say that my crotch was not on fire and I have NOT put the engine guards on yet. That back cylinder seems to be pretty good. I might add that it's 98 degrees here today too!!!   Big ass storms coming so I hurried back. So far so good!!!

How does the seat feel compared to the stock seat on the 2011?

I like it. I know some others have the 2014 cvo limited and really dislike the seat because it cuts into their inner legs. This seat feels pretty good so far...

Do you have the rear shocks set too stiff? If you don't adjust them properly they are very harsh.

I just checked the preload and it was set at minimum. I weigh 215 and do not ride 2 up.  Not sure what to do with the shocks to make them tolerable as from the dealership every tar strip was felt. Bumps were not pleasant.  Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Spook

Minimum is for 180. You need to look at the manual.

No sense looking at the instructions!!  I just was going over the bike.  Looks like Mother Harley forgot to put in one of the primary cover bolts.  Must be some kind of custom touch to the $37K bike.  Sheesh. Thanks for the replies.  Spook
