Leaving Gateway, CO bike started briskly suggesting a full charge. New battery installed by Sturgis HD late July and connections appear solid; checked fuses (including main) and none blown. 1.5 hour wait for tow truck on very narrow Hwy 141 shoulder, fortunately on straight-away with light traffic :(. Back home now with battery fully charged and bike electronics are still dead. Will have Grand Junction HD pick up and figure things out ……..hopefully my Cornerstone ESP will cover the problem ::) Thanks for your thoughts guys :2vrolijk_21:

Well that sucks for sure.  Glad you got it home with no problem other than the inconvenience.  Hopefully it will be something simple and they'll get you going again soon.

the switch assembly s have been a noted failure item... mine was replaced before I bought it

Trigger-Man:
Update: Grand Junction HD picked up and after 2+ days of diagnosing for an answer, a superior tech discovered a bundle of wires in the CANBUS area (behind the fuse box) had "come loose" (zip-tie failed?) and drooped low enough for a wire to touch the drive belt. Eventually an important wire shorted out and brought down the bikes entire electrical system. The wire which shorted was in the area where I'd installed a Target Tune module more than a year ago and even though I thought I'd taken proper care, it's entirely likely I'm somehow to blame. In any event, the bike's running fine again and I'm out $700+ if Cornerstone ESP doesn't step up :nixweiss: Thanks to all for well wishes :2vrolijk_21:!

Major Tom:
Good to hear you got it sorted Trigger
