T-max & Autotune programing
« on: January 18, 2007, 08:24:50 PM »

I seem to be thick trying to configure the Smartlink IV software after adding the autotune to my Tmax setup on an 04 CSE.  I have upgraded to the latest version on SMIV and the ecm.  When I open SLIV on my laptop the custom map is opened.  When I make changes are they only made on the map on the laptop? Would I have to read and write the map to the ecm?  The instructions are not quite clear, or maybe user error?  Thanks

Morning Roadrunner,

With Smartlink III or IV, on the screen of your computer, when the button "Link" and "Monitor" are green, you are in live.

After you have made the tunning (in live) you save a copy of these on your computer.
