S&S super e jetting
« on: October 31, 2020, 08:20:10 AM »

I'm new to the site, I have a 1998 heritage softail classic with ported an polished heads, 519 reaper cam, supersucker breather and the power robbing 42 inch straight pipe fishtails. I just purchased the ss super e carb kit with ss filter setup. I'm looking for advice on what jets to start with to save some time on tuning. I want to try an jet it the old school way before throwing in the towel an letting the shop do it on the dyno. Thank you for any advice.

Harley and Straight Pipes Always have a midrange rpmDip in Torque.  You will Need some Backpressure to get any Carb set good. Search the net to get all your info. Too much to address here.
