Would not surprise me to see Harley go away. I was at the Honda shop the other day and he said sales have been going down for the past few years.

Sales off 16% over the last 4 years, market share is declining, revenue & income down with debt up and declining dividends paid..... it appears we are raining blows upon an already deceased equine.

HD is probably headed towards a private equity buyout, if any firms see a silver lining in taking over the company.  This would get rid of shareholder pressure, allow the new owner to replace senior management, cut fat, restructure, etc.
