TonyO77:
First,
Can you recalibrate the cruise control system for speeds above 88 mph?
Second, I’m getting a wobble above 90, and it gets a little squirrelly, any idea what it is?
SIKBIRD:
Don’t know about the cruise control
Your wobble could be a number of things or a combination of a few. Check the easy stuff first:
Tire pressure
Front motor mount (under oil filter)
Grease the neck bearings (if it hasn’t been done before or it’s been a while be prepared to pump a lot of grease in there). Stuff paper towels or a piece of rope around the bottom before you grease it so it will force the grease up to the top instead of it all coming out of the bottom. Once it oozes out of the top then remove the paper towel or rope and pump until it oozes out of the bottom.

Also, look closely at your front tire. Besides tire pressure is your tire cupping or wearing unevenly. Lastly, do you have a lot of weight in the saddlebags or tourpak?
johnsachs:
Along with what's mentioned : Steering Head bearings, steering head bearing races, steering head bearing adjustment. Wheelbase measurement, left side, and right side, to be sure they're equal. Loose motor mounts, and transmission bolts, frame cracks. Heim joint, top motor mount, and also trans. mount.

Don’t ride at those speeds unless you get it figured out. Is it happening in a straight line or when you’re taking sweepers? What year bike?
