Fork lock cover removal and install
« on: July 30, 2019, 07:50:57 AM »

This applies to the SERGU and the SERG both.

There's been more than one discussion on how to r&r this damn cover and trying not to break the lock tab. I know I've had to replace mine. Recently working on changing my bars I've finally figured out how to do it without breaking that tab again.

Take the two screws out of the cluster housing.

Turn the switch to the unlock position.

Turn the forks to the right the whole way.

Lift that housing up and towards the tank as far as it will go and that will give the clearance needed to make it easier.

Hope this helps someone else in the future.
