FXDWG2 Poster
« on: January 05, 2004, 02:15:41 PM »

OK, does ANYONE know where I can get a poster-sized picture of a FXDWG2?

Redecorating my rec room in Harley decor.

Can anybody help?

Harley only made 1 brochure for the FXDWG2.  I was very luck to get one.  One of the ladies that I work with has a brother that works for the advertizing company that Harley uses and she had one sent to me.  I looked and looked and never found one listed anywhere else.

Believe it or not, I found a brand new FXDWG2 brochure too.

I LOVE the picture of it under the bridge, so I thought they may be available in a poster format.

Thanks for the answer.....................

I was fortunate to obtain an actual poster in 2001 immediately after purchasing my FXDWG2. I "swapped" it from a poster collector that came across it during a bike swap meet. I have not seen another one since. Also, yesterday (01-11-05), I failed at bidding on E-bay for a brouchure. I stopped at $40.01 after someone had an automatic "re-bid" of $1.00 higher than me 5 TIMES !! . Not sure who got it and what was paid for it. If anyone out there finds another, I'd love to get one and would negotiate a price.

I have no clue where you might get one but there was a Harley poster made that had an awesome photo of a FXDWG2 and said...

"A Car Would Have To Be On Fire To Get This Much Attention!"

It was a great poster.  I bought a new FXDWG3 in 02 and the FXDWG2 poster was hanging in the salesman's office.  I actually asked if he would give it to me or let me buy; his response, Forget It!.  That was at Glendale (now Arrowhead) Harley Davidson in Phoenix Az.

Anyway, good luck and let us know if you score one.

Just wanted to update this thread.  Zazzle has removed their item.  I tried to order one and the order was cancelled as I am guessing the individual who was advertising through Zazzle must have stopped making them.  Steve.

I repainted this poster and removed the the logos and trademarks, which I believe is why is was taken down. This is NOT the original brochure (which was 8x11) it is a crafted and restored full size poster using the same elements.

Also, all CVO forum members get a 25% discount so PM me and I can adjust price online before or rebate you later with paypal. Anyone who would like a personal poster, feel free to contact me for graphic design work using your photos and the bike specs.

Took me a few years but I finally bagged a factory WG2 poster. I've bid on a few before but they went for north of $75. Persistence pays off, only $25 shipped!

Took the poster in to Kinkos and had a high quality scan done and then printed a color copy to mount and hang on the office. Turned out about 85% as good as the original. Would share with others if there is interest. It's about a 30 meg file so you would have to send me a jump drive.

Here's the one that's been on my home office wall since the day I bought my first WG2. I traded her in 2003 for an Ultra....STUPID ME! I finally found a worthy replacement 2 weeks ago. She's been well cared for by the first owner...very low mileage and looks brand new...Heres the poster on my wall....and by the way...IT NEVER LEFT THE WALL...except for an office makeover (repaint, and new wood floors). I've had to look at that poster as well as a gazillion pics of my first Harley-Davidson (an FXDWG2) for 8 years (since I traded her for the ULTRA)....which is why I researched and found a pristine one. It's always been my favorite H-D (You never get over your first) and everytime we would see one, my wife would say, "Hey, Look...There's your former mistress".
