I see you live in the Ocala area, you going to have Doc tune your bike?

He will be doing mine during Biketoberfest.  He's done a good job on my others

Why the hell did they do THAT?

Don't care for the fixed lowers either. I rode three cvo's. RG limited and SG,  all three had the Rushmore setup and all three we're hot as heck.

All three went into rear cylinder shutdown at lights every single time

the eitms parameters have changed with the 2014 and newer.  instead of relying on cht, they now use ambient temp as one of the parameters.  if ambient temp is >80*, eitms kicks in.

So you don't roll the bars too far forward and hit the radio while in a tight maneuver.

We have been able to figure that out for years so why do it now? No different then making sure the bars don't hit the gas tank when turning left or right?

The new radio is closer to the rider than the old style. It was never an issue with the old radio housing.

Lol... Nvmd Mike I think we are misunderstanding each other here. All I am saying is we can figure out whether or not it's going to hit something just like we always have.

Yea, I do not like that, should have still been tied to engine temp like in the past.

Very true.  Removed that pin on mine, move the bars way forward and they are not close to hitting anything.

My guess is they did it so people would not pinch or cut the cables.  There is lots of room for bar adjustment with out hitting anything.
