Gas tank repair
« on: August 28, 2009, 09:38:46 AM »

anyone know of a good paint person? had an unfortunate accident, dropped the gas knozzle on the tank when I was refueling. Needless to say I am sick over it, but it happened and now I have to fix it.   Anyone?    Thanks, Joeymaq :(

You can get HD touch up kits from your local stealer if it's not too big!

What bike and color?

that info will help anyone who has had some work done on their scoot with a painter and would recommend them

Any good automotive paint shop who stocks PPG paints can match it for you.  The paint codes for Red Hot Sunglo are: PPG base 922609/1 and Candy 922609/2

There is a guy in Placerville, California who I have used. While you will have to ship it, you will find that his price plus shipping is very reasonable. He just did my whole rear tourpack including lid and light bar with fiberglass repair, two saddlebag lids, both front lowers and saddlebag filler strips and with shipping was waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper that what I could find locally.
