How do I get plastic off my rear fender under seat

I was hoping someone could tell me the best way to get that plastic protector off rear fender so I can use a solo seat and clean and wax the whle thing.

Just pick at it till it starts to lift, then pull it off.  I used goo gone, then finished it off with some detail spray and wax.

Oh ok, I thought maybe it would be tougher than that....just didnt want to screw up the paint job....Thanks for the reply

Try to make sure it is good and warm and if you have graphics like pen striping take it off more slowly. Clean up with Goo Gone worked for me.  Leave plastic film in place under where your new solo seat is going to sit.

Hair dryer works well to heat the plastic before you lift it off.  Leaves less glue residue as well when heating prior to removal.

Some guys have pulled paint with these.  So take Roger's advice and use a little heat.
