I've got a Road Tech Conquest on my 07 Ultra. Worked great up until about three weeks ago. Now it had a difficult time aquiring satelites, and if it does aquire them they ussually go away very quickly. I'm not overly GPS or cmputer literate. Can anybody give me any suggestions or do I have a faulty unit?

I'm sure someone else will chime in here but I believe if you need to reset it. I thought there was a way of doing it with holding the power button down on restart?

how do you have it mounted? is the antenna flipped up all the way?

I've got the Road Tech Quest and I was having problems acquiring satellites (taking way too long).  I plugged it into my computer and let it do a search for an update and there was a firmware update for mine.  After that was installed, it acquires the sats quickly and I've had no more problems.  Check to see if there's a firmware update for the Conquest.
