AUDIO AUX INPUT CONVERT TO OUTPUT

  Does any one know how or what you need to change the audio in to out so you can use it to listen to the radio or CD via headphones etc???

whaaaaaat????? how about ifen you take the radar audio out and plug it into your aux in and then listen to it via your speakers or heads set. If you want to listen to another source and have your radar alert and override your other source then you will need one of these

Not sure I get it.  My 04 must be set up different.


Do I need the Kennedy unit for $225???

im not sure what you want to do,,but if it is anything unusual, Kennedy may have the trick for you.. Go thru their site and see if anything they offer suits whatever it is you want to accomblish..

There was a thread a while ago about converting the Harley 7 pin audio jack to a 3.5mm, do a search, maybe you'll get lucky!

On seuc go to cyclegadgets.com for an adapter plug. I see on your avatar you have an 04, for 04 or 05 seeg put dpdt switch on speaker grounds, then put 2K resistors on low power speaker leads, use ground off either R or L  low power speaker ground, (BUT NOT BOTH!), to common headphone ground, R low power lead to one side of the jack and L low power lead to the other and you are good to go. MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT USE A SURFACE MOUNT FEMALE JACK AS IT WILL SHORT TO CHASSIS GROUND!
