Got back the windshield bag from Leather Connexion. They worked with me on design as the mini fairing cuts down on the room for a traditionally mounted bag. Had the SE stitched in prior to construction and it turned out great!

SCRM-R- Thanks for the tip on the gold rotors! They look like a cool product. If it's one thing I can always count on it's help from the members on this forum finding ways to spend more $ on the scoot.

Got another little project completed the other day. Trying to highlight some of the bar/shield details on the bike. Had the fork covers done and got the back of the mini sissy bar plate done as well. The paint match is spot on and it looks nice. Just something else to set the bike apart. Have several other locations on the bike I am looking to detail in this fashion. The back of the luggage rack and the lower portion of the belt guard have Harley Davidson in a script. Planning to paint the script in red. There are bar/shields on one spoke on each side of the wheels, same for them. There is a bar/shield on the choke knob and one on the tank console. Same plans for them. Just the little details I obsess over.

The other project Leather Connexions (www.leatherconnexion.com) completed for me was a trunk bag. They don't normally do brown leather but both Diane Kaib and John Cress were more than helpful in finding the leather, using ostrich (fake but pretty real looking), buckles and tan velcro I found, sending me the preproduction leather so I could take it to my embroiderer and have the SE logo stitched on and completing final assembly.

Result is better than I hoped for.

Found the ostrich leather and buckles at Tandy Leather. Had the buckles golded and then painted on the red.

Looks great on the bike. Just waiting for a decent weather day so I can get the bike into the sun for some photos. Until then, these will have to do.

Have had a few PM's on contacts and pricing.

Diane Kaib at Leather Connexion can be reached at 800-634-2453 or diane@leatherconnexion.com

Windshield bag was under $100
Trunk Bag was under $375 by the time all the extras were added.

I do not work for Leather Connexion and this was my first project with them. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some custom work. They are very willing to work with you to get you what you want.

Gabe -Sweet! It's great seeing an investment leveraged by others. Love the upgrade! If any of you other SE freaks out there would like the software file to take to an embroiderer, send me a PM and I will forward it on. You can use whatever colors you want so it can be customized to the color scheme of your bike!

Took off the mini fairing and changed the black rubber interior headlight surround to gold material. Same as that used on the windshield lower surround. Looks much better.
