Also got the front spoiler with the recently added flames installed. This looks great! Leni from Krazy Kolors did another spot on job. Don't know how the CVO designers missed this one.

Got the storage tube remounted as well. Found some nice metallic gold decal material and put gold inserts on the vertical indentations. Can't see it too well in the photo because the light is poor but it's a nice improvement and adds that gold touch to a really nice chrome piece.

The front A-frame section back together with the new flames on the chin spoiler, storage tube and mounted CVO coin. Pleased with the mods. Can't wait to get it out and ride.

Time for a few more additions.

Picked up one of these side stands at a closeout sale. Have read they work well on stock bikes but may not work on lowered bikes. The WG2 was factory lowered so am not sure it will work. Will have it golded if it does. Should look cool. Anyone out there have any experience with these? Made by Image Castings.

All you have to do is bend it a little more so a lowered bike has a safe lean to it.  Since you're going to have it done in gold, you might as well take a torch to it, bend it to where you want it and then get it "golded"!

Thanks for the tip arcticdude. I'll try to find someone with some metalworking skills if it doesn't work out of the box. It looks too cool to leave off.

It does take some experimenting to get the angles right, so when the stand is up, it doesn't just beat the frame or primary up.  You have to bend at the 90 that's there already and it usually doesn't take much.  You can pull the original off to compare to.  Might help.  I agree with the direction you've gone, it will look great if you can make it work.

Finally got the new horn cover mounted. Turned out great. A few more details and we're ready to roll for the summer. It's been a good distraction during the winter months to have several projects going. Everything is due to be done before leaving for Eureka Springs. Just hope the bike runs reliably!

Wider view. Also put a chrome accent line down the center of the coil cover. Got an all chrome one I may try but thought I would see how this plays first.

Got the bike out for the third time this week. This time I took a day off and went into western Wisconsin with some buddies. Six of us left St. Paul at 10:30 and rode for about 150 miles. Temp got up to 71 degrees! Just outstanding. Bike performed great. Finally getting some pictures outside! Here it is in Taylors Falls.

Stopped by the leather craftsmans shop and the bags are due to be done before we go to Eureka Springs. That's the last big piece of the puzzle, although there are several more minor projects in the works. I'll get more photos up when it's sunny and I'm not riding!

Man, this is the first time we've seen the whole bike and I must admit, it looks stunning!
Nice touches and it's your vision that has made this "dream" of yours come true.

Nice job!

Thanks Buffy! It's great to be able to get it off the jack and out on the streets! Looking forward to Eureka Springs in a few weeks.
