Red also goes so nicely with gold!

Buffy, I will say again that it was years staring at your bike and the improvements you made to your WG2 that have been my inspiration as I work on mine. You now have 2 scoots to divide your attention (and wallet) between. I will remain focused on one for the time being. Eventually I think there will be a second Harley but it will be my wife's ride. She already wants to upgrade from her Suzuki S50 to an S83 but after that, I believe there is a HD in her future. I will enjoy tweaking that as well!

Thanks for the kind words, but your bike has far surpassed anything that I have done.  You have the vision to see what would make a SUPER-looking bike even better.  :2vrolijk_21:

But now with all of your improvements, you really have to update your avatar!

Got the new bags in. Boss bags purchased a lot of similar tan leather back in 2001 and made a bunch (I believe over 100 sets) of bags for the WG2. They still have stock left! Even made the little front and back detachable pouches but no windshield bag (still lookin'). They look good but I have a few mods to put them through before I'm done with them. Very, very sturdy with a lot of heavy duty formed plastic support.

Tried the windshield on and it looks awesome. Looking straight on it looks like the flames jump off the mini fairing onto the windshield. Still thinking about golding the front WS hardware. Leaning away from it as I think it would be too much.

Took a few parts in to Lenni like this fork cover to highlight the bar & shield with matching color paint. Turned out very well. Have several more items that will get this treatment. Looking for a custom decal maker that can print me a page of gold FXDWG2 decals that will fit inside the various sized bars on the logos. Think this would look cool.

Photo of the bike up on a Sears jack (as read about in other threads). Lighting is poor but you have to remember it's 14 degrees out and not a whole lot warmer in the garage!

I agree with leaving the WS hardware chrome.  You need something to tie the WS with the chrome on the bike.

BTW, nice bags too!

Got the front spoiler back from Leni at Krazy Kolors yesterday and, once again, he has done an outstanding job! Am psyched to see this on the bike!

Another shot of the spoiler. Started with a painted replacement part from HD and Leni did the gold leaf work and pinstriping.

Also got back the new horn cover. Leni did the red wing tips. Should look cool! Yes, I use a red camera - they're faster!

Nice job on the new mods, you've definitely carried out the theme well. :2vrolijk_21:

I want to tell you that you have turned your bike into one of the nicest looking motorcycles I have ever seen. This is absolutely fantastic looking!! Congratulations, you've really got a knack for making things fit together and look super.
