Upgraded the rear axle adjuster plates to chrome from the plain Jane version and found a hot topper to cover the adjuster bolts. This left a nice blank spot for the coins but it wasn't quite big enough so I had to trim the coins down a bit to fit. Turned out great. You can just barely see the left side. Poor photo skills. The red really makes 'em pop!

Actually liked the chrome with the brushed look better than the golded cover for the accessory outlet cover so I slapped one on there as well. Since it was slightly smaller than the gold coin I originally put on, you get this trick gold surround going. Unintended upgrade!

Flat spot on the chrome starter was calling out for a coin as well.

Wanted some additional detail on the dash so painted the bar/shield red and the surrounding ring gold. Looks great. Still trying to find out how I can get one of the ignition flip covers with the CVO logo on it. Saw it on a 2008 SE Dyna and immediately started lusting after it.

SCRM-R - You're right on on the rare combination of artist and craftsman. I visited the shop again today and the tops were cut out, the ostrich sides were cut out and he was getting ready to stitch them together. I think they will be done this week and am very anxious to see (and post) the result!

B.E.,

I am still amazed at your vision to make a near perfect motorcycle even better. :cherry:

The stick-on "coins" really POP with the red trim!  Nice job!    :2vrolijk_21:

Windshield bag I had made mounted on the bike. Cool how the flames from the fairing reflect in the windshield cross member. Had the SE stitched on the leather before Leather Connexion assembled together the bag. They helped by custom designing a bag that is quite a bit smaller than normal windshield bags. Has to be because of the limited clearance between the fairing and the windshield.

Front of the windshield shows off the gold flames, gold bar/shield bolts on the metal windshield members, gold moulding around the headlight and of course, my favorite, the gold headlamp reflector - HD part number BUYEAR-LY.

you must  have the windshield bag loose in this pic, 'cause it looks 'off-center'......(or maybe I need to call it a night).  :nervous: har!  :drink: spyder

spydglide - you're seeing the roll bag on the back and it looks like it's part of the windshield bag. Click the photo and look at the enlargement. Photographic trickery!

Glad I don't have a Switchblade cause I could never keep up with that many upgrades and details.  It has to be the best looking Blade out there. :2vrolijk_21:

Got the bags back assembled just in time to pack 'em up. We leave tomorrow For Eureka Springs. It was close but worth the wait and effort.

Jason did an outstanding job with the design, tooling, coloring and stitching! A real craftsman!
