A few shots of the bike in the configuration I like best. It's nice having bags mounted as I always seem to run into something I need to carry or want to pick up along the way.

The WG2 now has a new stable-mate. Got a Deuce for my better half. Started a new thread here for this scoot.

Finnally stopped riding long enough to get some shots with the two up seat and backrest. 1st shot is of full two-up touring mode. Not my favorite look for the bike but it is the most comfortable for both parties.

Shot of the customized backrest. Ordered the full backrest (not the oval) because I wanted the flame stitch pattern but didn't like the black plastic back. Got the chrome oval back and had Jason do the SE logo on tooled leather. Turned out great.

Been spending most of my time riding (I've put 10K miles on the bike now) but ran into a vendor out at the Rapid City convention center that had such a great product I had to let him mod my bike.

The product is called Motorcycle Armor (http://www.motorcycle-armor.com/). It is a film made of clear coat material that goes on places likely to get chipped by road crap. I have a 3M invisible bra product on the front of my Acura to fight road chips and was thinking of having some put on the scoot. The windshield bag has scuffed up the clear coat on the little headlight fairing and I wanted to put a stop to that. When I saw this product and heard how superior it is to the 3M film, I had them put it on the fairing, the chin spoiler and the tip of the front fender. They have a kit for saddlebags that I will be getting for the Deuce hard bags.

Motorcycle Armor is a family business out of Denver and I spent some time talking with the father and sons who run the business. Great guys. All you touring bike guys with hard bags should definitely check them out. The film is removable, actually planned that way so that when it wears it can be replaced. Compared to the cost of repainting bags, fairings or other painted parts it is relatively inexpensive. They spent a lot of time doing bags and fairings out in Rapid. They travel to various motorcycle events so keep your eyes out for them. They are also training dealers to apply the film (not that tricky but over my head).

It's worth noting that the film not only protects clean surfaces but makes scratched surfaces look new again. They say it is because the film is made of the same stuff the clear coat is made from. I can attest to the fact that the scuffs my windshield bag put on the fairing have all but disappeared.

You can see the film edge a bit better in this photo:

Film installed on the front surface of the spoiler. Have about 1,000 miles on the product so far and it is much easier to clean and I can see how it will lessen the likelihood of rock chips on these surfaces. Highly recommended product  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Disclaimer - I do not work for Motorcycle Armor or receive any compensation for referrals (not that I wouldn't like to).

Also finally found a decoration I like for mounting on the brass plate under the CVO coin. Have been through several options and still will probably go with having Leni at Krazy Kolors script on 'Switchblade' but this will work for a while. Painted the flames red prior to mounting. Have to give it that custom touch.
