What is their stage III?

I have almost 4K on the build I did on my Anniversary King.  It is very street-able and gets same if not better mpg than stock, runs cooler too!

My build is the heads were ported and polished by Dewey's Head Designs the pro street cvo porting, set to yield 10.8 to 1 compression with the HD SE 10.5 to 1 pistons I used.  Then the cam is a SE 259E with woods directional lifters, SE pro tapered adjustable push rods.  Then I went with 5.3 gph injectors and an HPI 55 mm throttle body and 58 mm intake.  I am at 121.7 HP SAE 5 smoothing and 120.8 torque.  The torque curve is very flat, hits 115 by 2700 RPM and stays up there until after 5500 rpm.  Running a Fullsac DX head pipe with his 2.25 baffles and a TTS tuner

A blast to ride.

That said a 120R would be a blast and 10 more torque and HP with a good cam and tune.  It would also be about 3K more in dollars, maybe more

Wow, great build and numbers, Congrats!

I'm not sure precisely what the dealer is thinking about, but I'm pretty much sold on the 120R (one ride and I was hooked.) I think the 110 performs very well one-up but I do a lot of 2-up riding, and it doesn't pull nearly as well with the added weight.

My plan (at present) is to have the 120R installed over the winter, crating and keeping the 110 so I've got the matching SR# engine in case the bike is ever sold (doubtful.) I went with the the Bassani Road Rage II pipes which are 120R ready.

Dropping her of this evening for the 1K service and miss her already.

Just left her at the dealer - 3 days with a big empty space in the garage. At least the forecast calls for rain.

Went with Syn3 and RedLine Shockproof.

We have had nothing but rain all year here in TN.  Road to Battle Creek in June, got rained on half the trip up, and the last 1/3 on the way back to TN.

Headed to Muskegon MI for bike times Wed the 17th and will be up there until the 21st, if the weather is good up to Mackinaw, if not, back to TN.

I hear you on the 120R.  I did consider it.  I almost never ride two up.  Heck my Road glide does not have a back seat or passenger pegs.  Da King has had my wife on the back once, and will again in Milwaukee when she carries the chapter flag in the parade for the 110th.  After that the passenger pegs will be gone from it to along with the back seat.

I hear you, its been that way in TN too.  Lake has flooded over the docks 5 times this year, and in the past 13 years it has only done it twice.  Two foot over the dock walk ways now, which is 4 foot over normal level.

Picked up the RK, and the sun is shining...life is good.

Although the Dyno was uninspiring (93.96hp/106.44lb·ft), it running and pulling much better.
The board extensions are WONDERFUL
With the Phase 7s', keeping the passing lights on with the high beams....night into day.
The Dynamic Rings look great in the smoked-lens  bullets and are very bright, much more visible than the P7s in daylight.

I'll grab some photos and post the Dyno sheet. Still waiting on the LRS shield and I have yet to install the tri-led license frame/tail light installed. It appears the CVO license/tail light wiring will take a some time to get worked out.

Snapped a couple pics and a short video showing the CD Dynamic Rings...

The Dynamic Rings are very bright, much brighter than the P7 LEDs when viewed from an angle

The VTwinGoodies floorboard extension provides a very valuable inch of clearance.

I added the CVO Holographic medallion

I can't seem to get YouTube videos to display correctly, but here are links showing the Dynamic Rings in action...

The Custom Dynamics dynamic Ringz are nice.  I have them on my 13 CVO King and My 12 CVO Road Glide.  I also run their brake light module that gives you several options for flash patterns on the brake lights.

They make good products

The LRS 18" in medium tint came in. Haven't had a chance to ride it (yet more rain), but here's a quick cell pic...

The tint is a little darker than it appears in the photo (just a bit lighter shade than the Windsplitter) It matches the tint on the Phase 7's very well.

So how does the shield work?  Is it a big reduction in wind noise at 75mph?  How about a reduction in buffeting?

Thanks

It's perfect - I couldn't be happier. I'm 6'2 and the 18" version puts the entire air-stream well above my head. No buffet and I'm now comfortable riding with just prescription/transition lens glasses (as opposed to foam-lined mc sunglasses) even though I easily look over the shield rather than through it. The tint is slightly darker than it appears in the photo and matches the gray tint on the Phase 7s perfectly.

To me it's the best of both worlds, some of the looks of the WindSplitter with better performance than the stock RK shield.

I am 6'1", with a 34" inseam.  That is nice it puts the entire air stream over your head.  So you no longer get the wind noise in your ears?  Can you hear the stereo better now at 75 mph?  I do like the tint or shade of it.

My biggest issue with the wind splitter on the bike is the wind noise in my ears.  Its about the same as my fatboy with no windshield.

There is still "some" wind noise, but it is dramatically reduced and the stereo is heard better.  The air boundary layer is clearly distinguishable and now lies just above my head - is I can't imagine a better solution, especially with a shorter. 18" shield.
