And remember way back when you and Hogasm made the trip to my house in Connecticut.
Yep. It’s my birthplace N’Awlins! Had to return where it all began. As a matter of fact right here! Funny thing. The owner of my former home files an American Flag. I do too!
Marty this flag is for you! :2vrolijk_21:

I was just thinking of that trip. We ate lunch in Maine and did an Iron Butt aka "dumb ass" ride home the next day.
Nice pics as always Jock. Can't wait to see more of your adventures. The one thing I remember when we lived in Alabama is everybody is "Fixin" to do something or as some said "Fitten ta" but not sure if it ever actually gets done. :huepfenlol2:
Wow! Jockster never knew you were from N'Awlins! Why, that's right up the road from where Paul and Sherry grew up. :o House looks good too! Was it that nice growing up in it??? Love it when you ride and love the narrations that go along with the awesome pics. I learn and see so much thru your eyes and rides! Started praying for you today and will every day now that I know your trip has begun. Need a place to rest your head or just do laundry, you know where I'm at. Be safe, especially this weekend. Love ya man, God Bless! :2vrolijk_21:
As usual, great pics and great narratives! Be safe, and if you are making it back to the SF Bay Area let me know!
Based on your most recent avatar......and the slogan 'bout California girls.....I'm thinkin you're headed to Carmel for the GTG. :nixweiss:
Simply put…WOW! :o

I thought that was just another Sea Lion. Roger, you should really consider shaving. :2vrolijk_21:Hey now, it was a long trip across the beach and up the cliff!
In all, another excellent adventure that I will have memories of for a lifetime. Only problem is I am ready for another one! Butt where?
Well in a few short weeks you will find out where the NEXT Transcontinental journey will take me. I have been dreaming about this one for a while.
Life is Good.
:)
looking forward to your next adventure
I hope I was able to show you some roads that you hadn't rode on any of your previous visits to Nor Cal. and hope you enjoyed them all.
P/S.....the store in Capitola said they can ship that swim suit to you if you'd like. :huepfenlol2:
I know and for those I've never met, we will meet on the road some day! I hope to make it to MV. I'm going to try my best. ::)
So what was the deal with your scoot at the Grand Canyon.
At one of my gas stops at ~ 7,000 ft elevation the clutch just gave out. Even fully engaging the clutch to was difficult to get the bike in gear. They bled the clutch and the issue has been resolved.

Maybe when Eagles Nest is done you can come spend some time with us there.
I can show you some of the cool roads I have found in the area.
And to address some of your concerns,
Yes, there will be a place to wash your bike.
I already have the outside lift that will go in front of the garage.
Yes, I have supply of Glare and Royal Blue to help keep up that Pumkins rep!
Yes, there will be Country Ribs on the Traeger
Yes, with 15 Apple trees on the property there will be Apple Pie to drink and Apple Pie for desert.
Hell, why even grow up, let us get the home done and your invited.

Yeah! Diet Coke in a mason jar! HA!
Okay Jock I am riding up and down Hilton Head Island and don't see you guys. I'm on my bike towing a Red Radio Flyer Wagon with a green tarp over it so the Ball Mason Jars won't fall out and break, also so nobody can see what I'm hauling. Gonna stop under a tree and have a few sips and cool off here at the Harbour Town entrance.

:2vrolijk_21:
However Washington D.C. is on the schedule for next week but that is business.
Yep, that almost happened. Got the bike, flight, lodging all figured out and I put in for that week of vacation just to learn that one of my techs already had that week scheduled (only one maint. associate on vacation at a time). Tried talking to him about rescheduling his but it was a no go. :(
thanks for taking us with you on another great adventure
