anywhere but americade
« on: June 09, 2010, 09:32:10 PM »

had planned a day trip to lake george today with a co-worker and had plans to meet GH there, but......

the weather had other plans was already a mess near GH this morning and headed toward me, the co-worker was up most of the night and backed out. i figured no point in heading straight into bad weather and decided to head up into NH and ME instead

first stop of the day portsmouth NH, weather looks good here:

We went to Americade on Thursday.  Stayed in Rutland Friday night.  We drove Saturday AM to Lake George in pouring rain.  First time for riding in the rain for my wife and BSR.  We stayed at the Fort William Henry right in the middle of the action, so walking was possible.  Very light crowds.  Rain cleared up rest of the day.  We made it home yesterday, so lots of wet roads, but stayed dry.
Trying for Thursday to Sun in Laconia.
