Just back from a ride from So Il to hot springs Ark, took scenic Hwy 7 on the way back and i have to tell you what a beautiful ride that it is through the Ozark Mountains. Breathtaking views throughout the state. My brakes were put through the test, but it was well worth it....highly recommend the ride for all.

Brakes not supposed to use the brakes on that road just accelerate, engine braking, leaning thru the curves, down shifting thru the downhills before the curves, accel up the hills ride hard but safe yes it is a great rode.  :worthless:

YES I know what you mean I am very lucky to live around that area and we get to ride it all the time.
A lot of good riding Hwy 123 to 374 and also hwy 74 from Jasper over to 23 OH and don't' forget about the Pig Trail hwy 23.....

Shoot I could go on and on and on......

The brake thing I know what you mean you must have been following the travel trailers of the SiLvEr HaIrS because you can't pass them and when you can pass that is when they drive all over the road gaulk-in around at the beauty of the land....

Glad you enjoyed you trip.

You should have gave me a call and we could have had lunch some where....

Hey, that's where we should go!  I'd even get to take 7 seven down there (though you'd have that crap I-40).  What about a week from Saturday?

Thanks for the comments and invites, ya, it was like 100 out and we were riding 2 up so i used a combination of engine and rear braking but tired to use moderation for both due to the heat, lots of trucks and tourists not used to driving up there played into things also.Such a beautiful country there.
