Brad, can you translate that into English for me?  I have no idea what you are trying to say.

I was in Erie last week for Roar on the Shore, but I was only there for a quick stop and had to get back home or I would have called while I was in town.  Nice event though.

I missed you in Erie...I put a post up to see if anyone was going. The wife and I spent a few days up there and would have liked to meet for a beer......

Well........  I had the same impression Brad did.  Saw the and first thought was wanted to see pics with the bike not in the shade.

I like it.  A lot.  But I think I'd like it better if the tan colors were a few shades lighter to contrast more with the dark red.  To give it more "pop!"

Out of the shade in good light it might just have more pop though.  So solely based on my own feeble eyes it is very sweet with the potential to cause diabetes in good light.

I originally picked out a color combo that was about 2 shades lighter.  My BSR talked me into the darker shades.  I'm glad she did now.  The guy that did this had a Road King seat and removable backrest done in the lighter shades I was thinking about and when I sat them on the bike, they stood out a bit too much.  They didn't blend in with the rest of the bike, which was something I wanted to accomplish.  The lighter color still looked good, and that's what I thought I wanted, but comparing the 2 on the bike, my personal preference was more fulfilled by what I got, and I suppose that's what it really important.

I do like it but, leather colors and paint colors are a risky venture. Black is black but browns and reds are another story. Perception of color match and beauty are subjective.

Is the surface texture and suppleness of the leather such that the gel can be appreciated?

It's not stiff like the stock material, so I would definitely say my buttocks feel the gel...if it's appreciated won't be known until I take a real long ride.

That is absolutely the most important thing.  Individual favorites is a fun discussion from the bleacher seats.  But that's all they are.  If the BSR likes and if you like than it can't be wrong :2vrolijk_21: .

I'd like to see one in that distessed kind of leather, like what they used to put in the King Ranch Ford's.

At first I wasn't sure, maybe cause I have the same bike and I didn't ever imagine to turn the seats to that shade ( non black ), but the more I look at your pictures it's growing on me. Most importantly is you and yours like it and it's comfortable. Enjoy and ride safe!   :2vrolijk_21: MAT

No doubt, I have always been a fan of a closer color match on seats. Black on everthing is boring!!

Refreshing change from black, black, black. Looks great! Way to think outside the box! The guy that did it, does he have a business or just a friend or what? My seat needs work.

He's a local retired guy that does everything in his garage and driveway.  He does motorcycle seats and hot rod interiors.  He does nice work with quick turnaround.
