Tried to get a shot of the sun reflecting off the front wheel.

It was a great day and I enjoyed being able to share it with my friend and brother.  I look forward to spending many, many more days riding with you Jon!

And now that you've got a real CVO, we don't expect your bike to break down every time we go for a ride. :huepfenlol2:

By the way, Jon has some pretty remarkable mods planned for this bike.  If he's able to pull it off, it'll certainly be a statement and a leader of SEUC mods. :2vrolijk_21:

What can I say..... JC you are the best. Really made this a special day for me. It has really been a blessing crossing paths with you back in 2005 at Easyriders, who'd a thunk. You are that older brother I  always wanted and now have. Looking forward to many many miles together on our new bikes with our gals. Thank you all for all your frienship and support.......its pretty amazing to have such a large group of people to share our experiences and joys with. Looking forward to seeing everyone at all the upcoming GTGs and meeting new friends. JC, thanks again for introducing me to this site and all my new friends. I am diffinately ONE HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!!  :orange: :orange: :orange: :2vrolijk_21:

Jon congrads on the new bike. I have the same color coming in next month and I bet I have the same big smile that you had all day. So please tell me does it ride like it looks. The bike looks like it fit you well too. And I have to say that you have pics of you and your first CVO that most people never get. Ride safe and have fun. :2vrolijk_21:

The formula was:  up hill, twist the throttle but keep it under 4,000 rpm.  Down hill, pull in the clutch and let it idle down to 10k rpm.  Fifty miles of that and we could pick up speed. :)
Congratulations Jon!, welcome to the club  ;) Be carefull about ideling down to 10k though.  :P I guess JC won't have to cary your tools anymore. Roger

Jon,

GREAT looking bike. It'll be a loooooong time before that smile comes off your face. What mods do you have planned? Are you going to keep the stock gear shift levers or upgrade to the "ViseGrip" one? Has Susan started settling into her "CVO"? Nice, nice looking bike.
