Title: Well I did it Stage II - and the results are.....
Post by: Designflaw on September 19, 2019, 03:04:52 PM
I couldn't leave well enough alone so I jumped.... Sorta. I stayed with Harley stuff for this stage. May change if move further forward. Here is what I did:

Rinehart Slimline Dual, 4" cans
Harley Street Tuner and Auto Tuner
HD 447 Torque Cam Kit
Dyno Tuned for correct base map

All in 2500.00 Bucks.  ;)

Chart attached. 3 gears shown. Max HP @ 98.87 in 4th, with Max TQ @ 120.46 in 6th. (117.88 in 4th)

So, let the bashing begin...  :drink:

So this is all the HD Screamin' Eagle stuff and an HD approved download? In other words no S&S Cams and no dyno tune with the TTS Mastertune.

Correct - All HD except the pipe.

Not meaning to "flame", just curious. Why did you pick the torque cam over the power cam and if you went to a full Rhinehart, not sure I spelled that right, exhaust why didn't you do an aftermarket tune? The exhaust alone killed your warranty so why not.

Looking at my riding style the TQ seemed to fit better. Im a corner rider more than a top end guy. First trip through the mountains was great. Heading to the gap in a couple weeks so I'll get a full review of it. It is still stronger 80 on than stock was. If it doesn't do what I needed I'll switch.
Factory warranty is gone and ESP doesn't care to much about the pipes as long as Harley doesn't flag the bike for noncompliant software so I stayed HD. If I go stage 4 at some point I'll change.

Nothing at all wrong with those curves and warranty to boot.  I'd say good for the price.

Would I understand it right, that cutting out the limiter to get it out to 6000 rpm's also voids the warranty?

Don't know, didn't change the limiters.

Not sure who told you the exhaust would void the warranty. The TUNE will void your warranty. But please don't ask me how I know!!!
